How badly do you want your life to change and improve?  How much have you studied up on self-help, personal development and success?  How many articles and publications have you read?

One very important question – Have you taken ACTION upon the information you have?

Our every thought either takes us towards or away from our goals and desires.  In other words, thoughts have positive or negative effects on the direction of our lives.

Your mind is like a computer.  If a computer is loaded up with virus-infected programs, would you think that it would run smoothly?  Of course not!  What you get out of the computer is exactly what you put in – garbage in, garbage out.

Make a determined effort recognize your negative thoughts.  Try not to dwell on them.  Just like the Play Doh, your life can be shaped and moulded into any form or shape by your thoughts

Find a way to let out your negative thoughts.  Friends and relatives who are willing to listen to you are good but sometimes, they are too sympathetic which can be counterproductive.

A great way to vent out your negative thought is by Journaling.  Writing out your frustration, anger, disappointment, etc, and then, hold a symbolic burning party – literally burn the negative thoughts and feelings away.  Be careful you don’t start a fire though!

Remember, the potential for change is the same for everyone.  It only takes acceptance of the idea that change is possible coupled with the determination to follow through. It’s not always easy to control our thoughts, but certainly not impossible, and the rewards can last a lifetime.
